Taylor Burgess  was formed in 1977 as a specialist supplier of Bathrooms Kitchens and Central Heating under the Bradbury Group flag. 
The Company was acquired by Tarmac in 1983 when they took over Bradbury.
In April 1984, John Taylor and Tony Burgess completed a management buyout taking full control of the company.
1987 :- The company was moved to its present purpose built location.
1991 :- Long time employees Mrs. Elaine M. Swindell and   Mr. John W. Johnson pooled resources to buy out Tony Burgess keeping the continuity of the company intact.
1999 :- Elaine Swindell and John Johnson again pooled resources to buy out John Taylor allowing him to retire but while ensuring the goals of the company did not diminish.
